What "high payout" means
RTP, return to player, is the share of all the money bet on a pokie that the game pays back over a very large number of spins. If a game returns 96 cents of every dollar bet over the long run, it keeps 4 cents: that 4% is its house edge. Over one evening your result can be far above or below that; RTP describes the long run, not your session.
A casino doesn't have one payout rate of its own. What it does decide is which games it offers and, for many of them, which RTP version it runs. That makes "high payout casino" a question about the games and the settings, and it's why the figure worth checking is the one inside the game.
One pokie, several RTP versions
Game studios often sell the same title at more than one RTP. BGaming, the studio behind Elvis Frog in Vegas, puts it plainly: "Providers often release several RTP versions for the same game, then the casino chooses which one to run based on margin targets or commercial terms." It also advises players that "the in-game info is still the most reliable way to confirm the particular game RTP you're playing."
We found one example of a gap. Pragmatic Play lists Gates of Olympus at 96.50% RTP on its own game page. Winz's page for the same game shows a house edge of 5.5%, which is 94.50% RTP (both pages in the sources). Pragmatic doesn't publish a list of versions, so we can't say which setting Winz runs, and from an Australian connection the game's demo was blocked by the provider, so we couldn't open its rules screen.
Which casinos show RTP
We opened the lobbies and game pages of six casinos that take Australians, without an account, on 28 September 2026:
- Winz shows a "House Edge" figure on every game page, which is 100 minus the RTP, and some game descriptions add an RTP line.
- RocketPlay shows RTP for six pokies in a table on its pokies page, and inside the rules of guest demos such as Elvis Frog in Vegas (95.3%).
- Woo Casino offers guest demos, but the RTP section of the game rules was switched off in the ones we opened.
- SkyCrown, Vegas Now and Jack show no RTP to guests; their game pages need an account. Vegas Now's FAQ says payouts "are between 95 – 98%" without naming games.
None of the six lets you filter or sort games by RTP, and every set of terms we read leaves it to the player to know each game's payout percentage.
Winz is the only casino we read that shows each game's house edge on the game page, so you can pick higher-RTP pokies before you spin. Its terms also set a one-hour target for withdrawals.

- Open the pokie and find its info or rules screen, usually behind an "i" or menu icon.
- Look for "RTP", "Return to Player" or "theoretical payout". That figure is the version this casino runs.
- Compare it with the provider's own game page. If the casino's figure is lower, it is running a lower version.
- Where a casino shows no RTP at all, treat the game as unknown and choose one that does show it.
Example: Elvis Frog in Vegas
Elvis Frog in Vegas, by BGaming, appears in the lobbies of most casinos we read. BGaming's game page lists it at 95.3%, and the same 95.3% came back from the game catalogues of RocketPlay, Vegas Now, SkyCrown, Woo and Winz. Winz displays it as a 4.7% house edge; RocketPlay shows 95.30% in its table and 95.3% in the demo rules. For this game, then, the casinos we could check all run the provider's standard version.
High payout also means paid out
A higher RTP only helps if the money reaches your account. How long each casino says a withdrawal takes, from a one-hour target at Winz to 18 working days at Avantgarde, is in the payout race, and the details by method are on payout times by method.
